The Ohio Access to Justice Foundation (Foundation) is a leading statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing fairness and access to civil legal justice for Ohioans. Founded in 1994, the Foundation is at the forefront of funding and supporting civil legal aid societies, resources, programs, and services designed to meet the unmet civil legal needs of low-income and underserved communities across Ohio. The Foundation plays a crucial role in promoting fairness and equity within the justice system.

Position Overview:

The Office Associate fulfills a vital role in successful and efficient office operations and advances the Foundation’s programs and special projects. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a professional, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.

Major Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including, but not limited to: answering phones, drafting and editing correspondence, handling mail, copying and collating materials, ordering office supplies, preparing purchase requests, and liaising with building security.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of Foundation grants by reconciling documentation, tracking grants through Salesforce, and communicating with grantees regarding deadlines and requirements.
  • Review, input, and organize Foundation data from financial institutions, courts, grantees, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, to further the needs and mission of the Foundation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in office administration and data processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) and Salesforce.
  • Analytical mindset, excellent mathematical skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding organization, time management, communication (oral and written), and strong social skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage projects from inception to completion with minimal oversight.
