Position Overview:
We seek a mission-driven candidate to support grant-funded projects aimed at improving the quality of legal representation for children, parents, and kinship care providers involved in the child welfare system. This candidate will support a multi-faceted initiative alongside a team of partners. This initiative includes assessing the current child welfare system; creating and distributing tailored, high-quality attorney education, establishing financial incentives both to enter child welfare practice and to provide high-quality representation, and supporting innovative service delivery models. All these efforts aim to boost access and elevate the quality of legal representation for parents, children, and kinship caregivers in, or at risk of involvement with, Ohio’s child welfare system. Specifically, this role will support the project by providing general administrative support, managing the financial aspects of the project, including distributing financial incentives, scholarships and loan repayment assistance and providing training to participants within the child welfare system on optimal billing practices. In addition, the position will oversee sub award grants to new and innovative programs aimed at improving the quality of representation provided to Ohioans engaged in the child welfare system.

Major Duties:
• Administratively support the new project implementation
• Work with Foundation staff to ensure all financial aspects of the grant program remain consistent with the proposal
• Provide training and technical support to all entities involved with billing in Ohio’s Title IV-E system
• Utilize business intelligence platforms to create dashboards and data insights to monitor and share information about the project
• Undertake other project tasks as identified and assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Analytical mindset, excellent mathematical skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding organization, time management, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and manage projects from inception to completion
• Experience engaging and collaborating with diverse community stakeholders preferred
• Advanced computer and data systems skills; experience with SQL, industry standard database management systems, and knowledge of CRM (e.g. Salesforce) and Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
