Legal Aid, Court, Bar Association Collaborate on Pro Bono Clinic

Shelby County Magistrate Judge Gary Carter worked with Legal Aid of Western Ohio and the Shelby County Bar Association to create a clinic where Shelby County residents seeking a divorce, and unable to afford an attorney, can obtain pro bono legal assistance and not have to navigate the process alone. New Website To Aid Voter Choice in Judicial Races

On September 1 Ohio voters will gain access to a new online resource for learning about candidates for judicial positions. According to Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Maureen O'Connor, the website, www.judicialvotescount.org, is a "one stop shop" for voters who may not vote for judges due to a lack of information.
