Ohio Lawyers Participating in National Pro Bono Celebration

Lawyers across Ohio and the country will join forces to provide civil legal services at no cost to those who cannot afford an attorney, and participate in other events marking the sixth annual National Pro Bono Celebration. The Celebration is sponsored by the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service.

Supreme Court of Ohio Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor said “Economic factors that have reduced funding and resources for legal aid have, at the same time, increased the need. Attorneys willing to donate their time and talents provide a legal voice to those who would otherwise not be heard.”
