The Ohio Access to Justice Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of new board members. The Board of Directors supports the Foundation’s mission of ensuring that Ohioans who are low-income or who lack access can fully and fairly participate in civil systems that produce just outcomes.
Nicholas A. DiCello, partner, Spangenberg Shibley & Liber LLP, focuses his practice on representing victims of medical malpractice and law enforcement misconduct. His peers consistently select him among the top 50 lawyers in Cleveland and one of the top 100 lawyers in Ohio. A leader in the legal community, DiCello is the immediate past president of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. DiCello was appointed to the board by Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Sharon Kennedy.
Mary Menkedick Ionno, senior associate vice president and deputy general counsel, The Ohio State University Office of Legal Affairs, provides strategic legal counsel on a broad range of workforce-related matters, partnering closely with executive leadership, human resources, and business stakeholders to manage legal risk while advancing organizational objectives. She focuses heavily on employment law strategy and compliance and helps shape practical solutions to emerging workplace challenges. Mary is dedicated to advancing efforts that strengthen community and improve outcomes for individuals and families. Mary is also active in the philanthropic community, serving as chair of the YMCA advisory board for housing, shelter, and social responsibility.
Tracey L. Turnbull, partner, Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP, focuses her practice in commercial and employment litigation matters, serving as the partner-in-charge of the firm’s Cleveland office and co-chairing the Class Action practice group. Regularly recognized as a top Ohio lawyer, she is active in the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, DRI, and the International Association of Defense Counsel. Turnbull is committed to public service and the community, serving as a past mentor for College Now and the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s Success in Law School Mentoring Program.
