The Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation Presidential Award is presented annually to law firms or individuals who have made outstanding efforts in improving access to justice through pro bono or volunteer service.
Past recipients include Hon. Colleen Falkowski (2015); GE Aviation Legal Department (2014); and Bricker & Eckler LLP (2013).
Nominations for the award are now open. If you would like to nominate an individual or organization for outstanding efforts in improving access to justice through pro bono or volunteer service, then please do so by email to email@example.com no later than Friday, March 4, 2016, at 5:00 p.m.
Your nomination should include the name or names of the individual or organization you are nominating and a brief statement (no more than 250 words) of why this individual or organization should be selected. You may submit more than one nomination. Letters of recommendation are welcomed but not required.
The Foundation Board President will review all nominations and make a final selection.
The Award will be presented on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 27, during the Ohio State Bar Association 2016 All-Ohio Legal Forum (formerly known as the Convention and Annual Meeting) at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
