Under Budget Blueprint, It May be Harder to Get Help from Legal Aid

The federal Legal Services Corporation was created in the 1970’s, during the Nixon Administration, to provide civil legal help to individuals and families who could not afford a lawyer, and to help the civil court system be more efficient, effective and fair. Under the Trump Blueprint, funding for the Legal Services Corporation would be eliminated.
